Evangelion Unit 08 is the seventh production model, and the second dedicated to a 'berserker' role. It is a tall, strong beast with long, disturbingly distended arms and brutally powerful jaws designed to latch onto a target and bring it down. Although not as armoured as its counterpart EVA-05, it doesn't need to be; any enemy of EVA-08 has to contend with its unmatched power first and foremost.

The Eva was purposely designed for Isaiah Gabriel-Wei, and will operate for no other pilot. For months, the finished EVA-08 sat in stasis as Gabriel-Wei resisted recruitment; once he entered the Entry Plug, the Evangelion demonstrated its incredible talent for brutality.
