AT Field/AT Field Power Rules

AT Penetration

All offensive AT Powers now have an 'AT Penetration' value. For every point of this value, you ignore 10% of the enemy's Deflection. If the target is within 20dm of the user, then the wielder's ATS (before depleted by the power) is used instead, if higher.

Example 1: Aline has 10 ATS. She uses the Cross Blast power on Gazardiel (who has 10 ATS), which costs her 8 ATP, and has an AT Pen value of 8. Gazardiel rolls vs. 20% to deflect the attack.

Example 2: Aline has 10 ATS. She uses the Cross Blast power on Gazardiel (who has 10 ATS), which costs her 8 ATP. She augments it by another 2 points, however, which brings the total cost to 10 ATP. The AT Pen value of Cross Blast is now at 10, which means Gazardiel cannot deflect the attack.

Example 3: Aline has 10 ATS. She uses the Cross Blast power on Gazardiel (who has 10 ATS), which costs her 8 ATP. Cross Blast normally has an AT Pen value of 4, but because Aline is only 20dm away from Gazardiel, she treats the AT Pen as 10, which means Gazardiel cannot deflect the attack.

All Angels have the AT Penetration quality applied to their natural Angelic attacks as well, except the AT Penetration value there is equal to their ATS (if within 20dm of the target), or equal to the Penetration quality of the attack (if outside of 20dm).

E-Scale Fire Houserule

E-Scale units do not need to test WP to act normally, and more importantly, they take a mere 1 Energy damage (ignoring TB and AP) that doesn't provoke Synch Disrupt per round to the limb on fire.

New MAGI Analysis Table

Units with access to a MAGI system (Battleships, NERV Bases, Eva Carriers) or a remote uplink to a nearby MAGI system (Evas with MAGI Uplinks) can use MAGI Analysis on a single target once per round. Roll a 1d100 and compare the result on the table below.
Roll Result Effect
0-20 The MAGI needs more time to calculate combat data. No effect.
21-40 The MAGI has analysed the subject's offensive systems and produced a reliable report on their capabilities. You become aware of the target's WS and BS and their weapon profiles.
41-60 As above. Furthermore, the target's defensive capabilities have been analysed. You become aware of the target's TB and AP, as well as any other defensive qualities they possess such as Ablatives and Deflection Rating.
61-80 As above. Furthermore, the MAGI has managed to analyse the target's structural integrity. You become aware of the target's wounds, and remain so for the rest of the encounter.
81-90 As above. Furthermore, the advanced combat capabilities of the target have been estimated. You become aware of the target's Strength and Agility, as well as any traits or Special Abilities the unit possesses. Furthermore, up to five of the target's talents are revealed.
91-100 As above. Furthermore, the MAGi has ascertained estimates regarding the target's AT Field capabilities. You now know the target's ATS at all times, as well as up to five powers it possesses.
