Formations Changelog

Offensive Formations
Assault Coordination now provides Gangup bonuses against Hordes and negates Combat Master. Before, Assault Coordination did something ridiculous by allowing you to make one standard attack after another after another.
Fire And Advance is new, and permits Squad members to make a free shot after moving.
Fire For Effect now gives guns the Rapid Fire Quality, and makes Rapid Fire Weapons more accurate when firing burst.
Fire Support has been removed.
Lightning Strike has been removed.
Furious Charge now Monstrous Charge; makes Charges a Half Action and lets you reroll damage dealt as part of a Charge.
Reckless Advantage has its WS bonus dropped to +10.
Tank Buster has been retooled to make better use of Squad positioning.
Defensive Formations
Dig In has been removed.
Enflame Elan is new; it allows Squad Members to pass Fear or Pinning tests with a Cohesion Test before testing WP.
Get Down is new, and allows the squad to dive for cover in response to attacks.
Hold Ground forces enemies at range to treat you as being farther away than you really are, and also reduces cover DTV.
Soak Fire is unchanged but now affects melee attacks.
Tactical Spacing now 'marks' a single Pointman and disincentivises attacking the Pointman's allies. The Pointman also gains an extra parry. This replaces the infamous 'Pointman Fort' mechanic of all members sharing a big pool of reactions.
Tooth and Nail now allows members who evade melee attacks to make a counter-attack. This replaces Tooth and Nail allowing you to reroll grapple tests and gain bonuses to gangup.
Support Formations
Bounding Advance replaces Squad Advance, and allows members more freedom when using the Tactical Advance. It also protects against Overwatch more.
Cautious Retreat allows squads to fall back and out of Pinning.
Added the Emergency Care Formation, which allows medical officers to set up sort of field hospitals.
Lead by Example is now more powerful, granting the whole squad rerolls and allowing the leader to add their FB/2 in DoS to a test.
Measured Response is new and allows the Squad to use Delays more conscientiously.
Regroup given a less ambiguous rewrite.
Tactical Reassessment is a curious new ability that lets a unit move, then reverse its movement. Good for scouting or probing.
Vehicle Team is new, and grants the squad extra actions when operating vehicles.
