Special Circumstances

Scandinavian Commonwealth Observation Fleet: The Scandinavian Commonwealth has declared neutrality in our conflict. However, they are watching this battle closely to make sure no force breaches that conflict. If an attack hits the Scandinavian shoreline or a craft in the Scandinavian fleet, the fleet will move to engage the aggressor. If a unit lands on or spends more than a turn on the coast of Scandinavian territory, this too will trigger the Fleet's aggression.
Limited Data: Circumstances mean that the map is shrouded in fog of war. Units may only see a number of KM equal to their Perception Bonus, but have shared vision.
Powerful Enemy: There is a chance of this battle having a particularly powerful foe appear, such as a Dysangelion, Divine Evangelion or an enemy Battleship.

Advice

Advisor Advice
Marianne2.png?dl=0 "The North Sea is mostly, as you might expect, sea. Any Evangelions being deployed here should be sporting C-Type Equipment. Otherwise, any long-ranged forces will be required to take up position in England to act as artillery."
Alphonse3.png?dl=0 "Our adversary in this matter is the German High Seas Fleet. From old intelligence reports, I estimate one Aircraft Carrier, between three to five Battleships, between three to six Cruisers, at least four Destroyer flotillas and an unknowable amount of Submarine flotillas. They'll also probably be sporting E-Destroyers. Our enemy have a heavy level of firepower to bear, superior aerial capabilities and submarines. This makes them a very powerful, very balanced force. We'll be outgunned at range and outgunned even faster at close range- our only true advantage is in our Evangelion units."
Minerva%20Linden.png?dl=0 "The Franco-British Task Force is divided between Battlegroup Invincible and Battlefleet Grouchy. Battlegroup Invincible is built on long-ranged support, and has units dedicated to anti-air warfare to protect the Carrier from air strikes. Battlefleet Grouchy is on the other hand more about front-line combat. Most of its firepower is focused around its twin battleships, but its destroyers are built around anti-submarine warfare. This is good, because we lack any submarines of our own. Optimally, I'd recommend Admiral Katsuragi take control of this battle, setting up command on the Invincible and controlling both battlefleets. I would like to assign Wellesley to the Carrier Air Group, but more realistically we'll have to entrust that to Katsuragi's own carrier air commander, Maksym Pavlichenko."
Liu%20Lin.png?dl=0 "The enemy commander is Marshal Magistrate Jackson, one of the UN's best naval commanders. She understands attack and defense well, and prefers pouring her forces into a well-coordinated alpha strike to cripple the enemy in one blow, which is a huge problem in sea combat because that alpha strike has the ability to wipe out our heavy guns. I expect she'll move her submarines around to a flanking position, then strike with the bulk of her forces once they've hit a ship or two. We absolutely have to be on the lookout for enemy Submarines in this battle."
