"I have seen the future, and I have seen your place; you will not survive."

Ramliel was one of the most devastating Angels the world has ever seen.

The Angel Ramliel appeared in geosynchronous orbit above Beijing-2 and rapidly opened fire, unleashing massive Angelspawn that detonated on impact, which devastated the city and the NERV branch beneath it.

After that it proceeded to use a scanning beam on the earth, which is slowly proceeding west towards Paris-2. It continues to bomb populated cities, leading to the evacuation of every civilian between the Yellow Sea and the English Channel.

All Evangelions were summoned to Paris-2 to aid in the defense, divided into two teams; the Ground Defense Task Force, consisting of EVAs 00, 05 and 06, and the Space Assault Task Force, consisting of EVAs 01, 02, 03 and 04. In a cataclysmic battle that saw Paris-2 shattered beyond recognition, three Evangelions utterly destroyed (with significant damage rendered to the others) and intervention from the Angel Shoftiel, assisting the defenders, Ramliel was defeated by a strike to the core.

Ramliel's powers were immense, even for an Angel. Within her Dirac Sea she had the ability to parcel off parts of her AT Field to create powerful Angelspawn that could survive long distances from her. How this was performed is unknown; however, studies from the MAGI suggest that within Ramliel's Dirac Sea, Ramliel's AT Field was greatly augmented by the energy it absorbed. Another theory is that the Dirac Sea actually created a large-scale time dilution effect, allowing Ramliel to, essentially, send her AT Field to the past or the future within her Dirac Sea, and thus create Angelspawn with 'excess' AT Energy. This supports the theory that the eight Sentinels guarding Ramliel were, in fact, Ramliel herself, existing in eight separate locations at once, separated by time.

Ramliel also seemingly had the ability to discern the future- and force others to see it too. How this was performed is also unknown, but since Ramliel's visions, in some cases, were false, it can be theorised that either they were merely lies, or a combination of Dirac Sea time dilution, the image that the future held within the target's mind, and super-powerful probability calculation.

There is evidence to suggest that some of Ramliel's Angelspawn designs were based on Evangelions; particular the designation 'Hulk' and 'Invader' Spawns.

Finally, Ramliel possessed one final curious object- a weapon. This weapon, dubbed the Lance of Tears by NERV scientists, was capable of channelling AT energy and using it to augment its combat ability. Possessing this Lance, Ramliel was able to slay EVA-01 and 03 with a single strike against each, as well as cripple Shoftiel.

Torturous Insight****

* Dirac Shroud: The Angel Ramliel is in possession of a supremely powerful AT Field. It is protected inside a Dirac Shroud that renders her impervious to attack. However, Ramliel possesses eight 'anchors'; the Sentinels. Whilst the Sentinels are still active, Ramliel
draws AT energy from them and thus sustains the Dirac Shroud. Without them, her Dirac Shroud would collapse.

** Angelspawn Bomb: The Angel Ramliel has an unparalleled ability to create highly powerful Angelspawn. These can be dropped from space upon the Earth to devastating effect.
Upon reaching the bottom end of the space map, an Angelspawn travels for two turns towards the Earth. Upon landing, it deals 1d10+ATS damage to everything within a 1*ATS KM radius.
This damage can be nulled by neutralising the Angelspawn or catching it in a Barrier Field.
Spawning an Angelspawn is a half action.

*** Communications Jam: Ramliel's presence in Space has an immense effect on local physics and the like. At the start of every round, roll a 1d10. On an even number, all
Earth-space communications are jammed by Ramliel's AT Field.

**** Torturous Insight: The Angel Ramliel leaves direct combat to the Spawn; however, it is not content to sit out the fight. Instead, it attacks enemies through its AT Field,
scanning them and amplifying their own insecurities, fears and neuroses.
Torturous Insight is a half action. It's a three-stage action that affects each character differently. It only affects each character once, and should Ramliel fail its WP test
at any stage then the Insight against that target must discontinue.

Aline:
Stage 1: Ramliel tests WP+20. On a success, Aline must test WP or take 1d5 ego damage.
Stage 2: Ramliel tests WP+10. On a success, Aline must test WP or suffer a negative Synch disruption.
Stage 3: Ramliel tests WP. On a success, Aline must test WP+10. On a failure, Aline becomes unconscious and EVA-00 berserks.

Sera:
Stage 1: Ramliel tests WP+20. On a success, Sera must test WP or take 1d5 insanity damage.
Stage 2: Ramliel tests WP+10. On a success, Sera must test WP or become catatonic for a single round.
Stage 3: Ramliel tests WP. On a success, Sera must test WP+10. On a failure he rolls on the Trauma table with a +100 penalty.

Yanmei:
Stage 1: Ramliel tests WP+20. On a success, Yanmei must test WP or take 1d5 insanity damage.
Stage 2: Ramliel tests WP+10. On a success, Yanmei must test WP or be stunned for 1d5 rounds.
Stage 3: ramliel tests WP. On a success, Yanmei must test WP+10 or be overwhelmed with guilt, fear and worry for Isaiah and others. She is stunned for 1d10 rounds and takes
1d5 levels of fatigue.

Asuka:
Stage 1: Ramliel tests WP+20. On a success, Asuka must test WP or take 1d5 insanity damage.
Stage 2: Ramliel tests WP+10. On a success, Asuka must test WP or frenzy.
Stage 3: Ramliel tests WP. On a success, Asuka must test WP+10 or suffer a Synch Disruption. Whatever the result, positive or negative, Asuka rolls 10d10 instead of 2d10.

Shinji:
Stage 1: Ramliel tests WP+20. On a success, Shinji must test WP or be stunned for 1 round.
Stage 2: Ramliel tests WP+10. On a success, Shinji must test WP or roll on the Shock Table with a +50 penalty.
Stage 3: Ramliel tests WP. On a success, Shinji must test WP or roll on the Shock Table with a +100 penalty.

Natasha:
Stage 1: Ramliel tests WP+20. On a success, Natasha must test WP or be unable to attack for 1 round.
Stage 2: Ramliel tests WP+10. On a success, Natasha must test WP or open fire on the nearest ally with a single shot attack.
Stage 3: Ramliel tests WP. ON a success, Natasha must test WP+10 or be dominated for 1d10 rounds.

Tsubaki:
Stage 1: Ramliel tests WP+20. On a success, Tsubaki must test WP or lose 1d5 Synch Ratio.
Stage 2: Ramliel tests WP+10. On a success, Tsubaki must test WP or lose 1d10 Synch Ratio and 1d10 Ego.
Stage 3: Ramliel tests WP. On a success, Tsubaki must test WP or find her Synch poisoned to such a degree that EVA-03 shuts down, sending her into hysterics.

Raphael:
Stage 1: Ramliel tests WP+20. On a success, Raphael must test WP or take 1d10 insanity.
Stage 2: Ramliel tests WP+10. On a success, Raphael must test WP or lose the benefits of Fearless for the remainder of the battle.
Stage 3: Ramliel tests WP. On a success, Raphael must test WP+10 or take 2d10 insanity.

Harbinger of Doom*
Avatar of Doom Mode**
Visions of the Future***
Apocalyptic Incantation****

* Harbinger of Doom: Ramliel rerolls all failed WP tests once.

** Avatar of Doom: Ramliel now uses the Avatar of Doom Template. Furthermore, she now produces Fear (3).

*** Visions of the Future (half Action)
Ramliel can inflict Visions of the Future on her enemies as a Half Action. How she does this is a question best left to philosophers and
mad scientists, but it's possibly a result of immense calculation combined with the dimensionally warping properties of the Dirac Sea she habitates. What the person sees
is not decided by Ramliel, however. A 1d5 on the chart below gives the result.
1. Vision of Happiness. The person sees a vision of happiness that, for a moment, becomes so real that they momentarily forget where they are. They immediately take a WP test.
If they fail, they are considered Helpless for the next round. On a success, they grant +10 bonuses to enemy attacks for the next round.
2. Vision of Pain. The person sees a vision of great pain and suffering, specifically to them. They immediately take a Willpower or Toughness test. On a failure, the person
in question takes 1d5 fatigue and -10 penalties to all tests for the rest of the encounter. On a success, they take -10 penalties to all tests for the next round.
3. Vision of Despair. The person sees a future of failure and misery, and it draws them in. They immediately take a WP test. On a failure, the person is stunned for 1d10 rounds
as they begin hysterically sobbing. On a success, the person is stunned for one round.
4. Vision of Death. The person witnesses their own death. They immediately take a WP test. On a failure, the person takes 2d10 insanity points. On a success, they take 1d10.
5. Vision of Doom. The person witnesses a vision so incomprehensibly awful and painful that all conscious thought is erased. They immediately take a WP test. On a failure, that
person rolls on the Shock table with a +100 modifier, regardless of any talents they may possess that block fear. On a success, that person rolls on the shock table, regardless
of any talents they may possess that block fear.

**** Apocalyptic Incantation (Half action, Maintain half, 10 action charge)
Ramliel begins charging her Lance of Tears to its full power. When it is fully charged, she hurls it at Paris-2 with devastating results.
Roll WS twice, one for each result below.
1: The Lance slams into Paris-2, causing immense damage to everything within a 10 kilometre radius. 1d10+20 damage to everything, Pen 10. On a failure, 1d10+10, pen 5. A
successful Deflection will only reduce it to the 1d10+10 Pen 5 damage die.
2: The Lance penetrates into the Geofront, ripping through all 22 armor plates and impaling itself through NERV HQ, with the very tip breaking into Terminal Dogma.
On a failure, it rips through the armor plates but is embedded in the last.
