The infamous 'Night Witch' is well-known in the international intelligence community. Since 2012 she's been the Chief Director of the Soviet Intelligence Service (SVR), a position of respect and not a small amount of fear. During the LN War Raskova and her department waged a secret war against the Liberated Nations, including everything from counter-espionage activities to the assassination of several key officials. In 2017 she was assigned to NERV, replacing Leon Thomas as Vice-Commander.
Raskova herself is severe and cold, unwilling to engage in pointless small-talk. She is straight to the point, direct and focused; her entire manner is sharp and crisp. She expects her people to perform and to do so exceptionally- anything else is a waste of her resources. As such she had one of the most effective intelligence agencies before her reassignment to NERV.
Little is known of Raskova's past, except that she has been working for the SVR since she was 18 years old. She is noted to have preyed exclusively on the Dnieper Death Cults in the Ukraine, assassinating key leaders and singlehandedly destroying patrols. The Death Cults feared nothing- nothing except Raskova, who, it was whispered, was less than human, and could not be killed, who fed on the dead and could dissolve into shadow. They did not like to whisper her name, calling her by a nickname instead- the Night Witch.
