Lesser Arcane Magic

Lesser Magic is a form of magic quite common to most spellcasters. The spells in this list are often known by different names to different cultures, but the effects are the same.

All Arcane Casters can cast the spells on this list. They must purchase them as normal.

Tier 1 Magic

Magic Alarm

You create a magic alarm on one spot you touch. Should something walk within 2m of this spot, you are instantly mentally alerted no matter how far you are, even if asleep (in which case you wake). Magic alarm lasts until triggered or you re-cast it. You may only have one magic alarm at a time.

Magic Lock

You magically lock a lock or a drawbolt, which cannot then be opened or picked, or forced open for a week. This does not prevent people from breaking the object itself down, such as breaking down a door or smashing open a chest.

Move

Effect
You use magical force to manipulate objects. You can use any unsecured item of 5kg or less within range up to 10m away. You can also use this to slam shut doors and windows, or knock over obejcts of 20kg or less.

Silence

You magically silence one target in range, who may not speak or even grunt for one round per Spell Dice. The target may resist with a Willpower test.

Tier 2 Spells

Aethyric Armour

You shroud yourself with magic armour, gaining +1 Armour score per Spell Dice to a max of +3 for 3 turns. This spell does not work if you are wearing armour and instantly is dispelled if you put any on.

Bless Weapon

Skywalk
