Glade Guard

The Glade Guard make up the core of the Wood Elf military. When Wood Elves come of age, they all become Glade Guards, inducted into their household's unit. Whole households fight together on the battlefield, leading to an apparently haphazard but brutally effective force. When not at war, the Glade Guard patrol a section of the wood, alert for intruders.

The Wildwood Rangers patrol this prison, although sometimes they leave the perimeter for the outer world, hunting Changelings- dark, dangerous shapeshifting spirits that pose an incredible threat to the world.

Wardancers lead the Wood Elves in dances and celebrations, each with a deep historical meaning that inform the onlooker as to the events of the past. In combat, the Wardancers move with unnatural speed and grace, slaughtering foes with their swiftly-swung weapons.
