Effect
Allowing your foes to strengthen themselves is not something that can be allowed. One enemy in range benefitting from the Kokukaja, Rakukaja, Sukukaja or Tarukaja spells instantly have those spells dispelled.
Special Notes and Effects
Collective Punishment: When casting this spell, you may choose double its SP cost and make it a Full Action. It now affects a number of enemies equal to your MCB instead.

Rakunda

Your enemies weaken; once-glancing injuries suddenly become lethal. Select one enemy in range; so long as the spell is sustained they reduce their TB by MCB/2, starting with Unnatural Toughness, to a minimum of 1. This does not affect wound pools. This effect does not stack with itself.

Barriers between you and your foe become meaningless. You create a bubble centered on a square within range, with the bubble radius equal to your MCB*2. Any attacks made against enemies within the bubble ignore conventional forms of cover.

Target Focus: When using this spell, you can choose to affect a single enemy target instead of creating a bubble. Attacks against this target ignore all forms of cover. Furthermore, the target's AP values are reduced by an amount equal to your MCB/2.

For every round in which this spell is sustained, make an opposed MC test opposed by your target's Toughness (if physical) or Willpower (if Mental). On a success, the effect's duration doesn't decrease this round.

Your enemies' attacks become clumsy and unsure, and often hurt themselves more than you. You create a bubble centered on a square within range, with the bubble radius equal to your MCB*2. Enemies within this bubble have a higher risk of stumbling or jamming- reduce the result needed to stumble or jam by your MCB. Furthermore, they take MCB*5 penalties to resist falling Prone on a Stumble.

Special Notes and Effects
Target Focus: When using this spell, you can choose to affect a single enemy target instead of creating a bubble. This enemy has a higher risk of stumbling or jamming- reduce the result needed to stumble or jam by your MCB. Furthermore, they take MCB*5 penalties to resist falling Prone on a Stumble. This enemy reduces their Super Hit Threshold by your MCB*2.

Counter Curse

Psychic Scan

Although the shadows can hide your foes, they cannot hide from your mind. You create a bubble centered on a square within range, with the bubble radius equal to your MCB*2. All enemies within this bubble takes an MCB*5 penalty to Stealth tests, and any penalties to hit them due to environmental obstructions such as darkness, fog etc. are ignored.

Special Notes and Effects
Target Focus: When using this spell, you can choose to affect a single enemy target instead of creating a bubble. This enemy takes an MCB*5 penalty to Stealth tests, and and any penalties to hit them due to environmental obstructions such as darkness, fog etc. are ignored. Furthermore you gain a bonus to evasion tests against this target equal to your MCB*5.

An infuriating shadow projection clouds your opponent's abilities. Select one enemy in range, and make an Opposed MC test opposed by their Willpower. On a success, they treat all melee attacks or abilities as though they were in Darkness. Furthermore, if they stumble during these attacks, they accidentally hit themselves.

Vertigo Illusion

Effect
Your opponent's world spins around them, making focusing impossible. Select one enemy inr ange, and make an Opposed MC test opposed by their Willpower. On a success, so long as the spell is sustained, all ranged attacks they make treat their target as though the target were one range bracket away than they really were- Point Blank becomes Short, Average becomes Long, Long becomes Extreme and so on. Furthermore, if the enemy makes a ranged attack at someone in melee with one of their allies, they accidentally hit an ally if they score 3 DoF or more.

Technique Weakening

First Tier Spells

Attraction

Name: Attraction
Tier: First Tier

Effect
You emit a signal to lure unsuspecting others. You designate a point within range with a radius of MCB*5. If this point is an individual, then it moves as they move. Others (normal people, Shadows, etc) within the radius who are not engaged in a strenuous or important activity focusing their attention (for example, fighting or holding an important conversation) must test Willpower; on a failure, they will begin heading toward the location, hearing a cue unique to them. They may test Willpower again as a Free at the start of each turn.

Special Notes and Effects
Target Focus: When using this spell, you can choose to affect a single target in range. They suffer the effects as above, but take a -30 penalty to their Willpower test.
Self Focus: When using this spell, you can choose to target yourself. Enemies in combat must take a Willpower test every turn; on a failure, they will prioritise you for any attacks made this turn.
Immune: Persona users and certain Shadows (especially more powerful ones) are not affected.

Fumbling Friend

Effect
The ground becomes covered in phantom thorns and blades, creating havoc for your foes. You create a bubble centered on a square within range, with the bubble radius equal to your MCB*2. Your enemies treat this ground as though it had a Difficult Terrain Value (your MCB/2). Any enemy which fails their Difficult Terrain test on the Field of Thorns falls prone and takes damage equal to your MCB/2, ignoring soak.

Special Notes and Effects
Target Focus: When using this spell, you can choose to affect a single enemy target instead of creating a bubble. If this target makes more than a Half Move on its turn, it takes damage equal to your MCB which ignores soak.

Gravity Shackle

Name: Gravity Shackle

Effect
Invisible tethers wrap around your enemy; the more they try to strain, the more violently the tether pulls. You create a bubble centered on a square within range, with the bubble radius equal to your MCB*2. Any enemies who try to move away from the centre of the bubble must make two Strength tests. If they fail one test, instead of moving they are pulled 1d5 metres towards the centre of the bubble. If they fail both tests, they are violently propelled to the very centre of the bubble, are knocked prone and take falling damage. If they strike another object on the way back, the object takes 1d5 damage, plus +1 per TB of the thrown enemy. If the total amount of damage (after soak) is larger than the object's TB, that object is also thrown backwards into the centre.

Special Notes and Effects
Rubber Banding: If the enemy's above movement is a Charge or a Run, they take a penalty to their test equal to your MCB*2.
Target Focus: When using this spell, you can choose to affect a single enemy target instead of creating a bubble. If so, you may designate a square; this square acts as the centre of the bubble, and affects your chosen enemy up to a distance equal to your MCB*10. You may change the location of this centre as a Half Action. If you prefer, you can also select another creature as the centre of the bubble.

Illusory Darts

Name: Illusory Darts

Effect
A rain of fake darts sprays at your enemy, spooking them. Select one enemy in range. They must now make a Pinning test with a penalty equal to your MCB*2. On a failure, they are Pinned.

Third Tier Spells

Borrowed Time

Effect
You maintain an opponent's time-ripple for a few seconds longer, and open up opportunities. Select one enemy in range. If this enemy is killed before the start of your next turn, you may give the enemy's next turn, whenever that would be, to either yourself or an ally in range. Whoever the benefactor is, they may act on both their normal turn and on the enemy's 'stolen' turn.

Condemnation

Effect
You brand a spell of condemnation on a foe, punishing it for certain acts. Select one enemy in range, and select one of the following Persona Aptitudes: Ailment, Defense, Offense, Power, Restoration, Resistance, Technique. If the target uses an Ability (not including Passives) with one of these Aptitudes, then you may make an Opposed Magic Characteristic test opposed by their Willpower or Magic Characteristic. On a success, they gain 1 point of damage per Degree of Success. If this damage would be greater than their WPB or MCB (whichever's higher), the ability is not activated; any actions, SP or EP used to activate it are lost. Note that this does not affect sustaining a spell, only activating one.

Suppressive Space

Effect
You suppress an enemy's unnatural action. Select one target in range, and then make an Opposed MC test, opposed by their Willpower. On a success, for as long as the spell is sustained, the target may not benefit from the Superior Action or Celerity traits.
